What is included
– Health and traits: selected health-related database matches and introductory information about body weight, diabetes and lactose digestion.
– Health follow-up: selected matches in genes used in clinical genetics. This is not a complete clinical screening panel.
– Inherited conditions: information that may support a discussion about inherited conditions and family planning. It does not establish that you are a carrier.
– Medicine response: selected markers studied in relation to medicines. It does not identify the correct medicine or dose for you.
Each topic has three reading formats. These are different presentations of the same evidence, not twelve independent tests. Coverage depends on your file. Some topics may have no usable matches. An empty section does not rule out a condition.
How it works
1. Purchase the bundle through ihypnosis.org.uk.
2. We send your invitation code by email within 3 calendar days after confirmed payment.
3. Open the reporting portal and select your own supported raw DNA file on your device.
4. Generate and download your PDF reports during your access period.
Proposed access term: Your access lasts 7 consecutive days (168 hours) from your first successful activation of the reporting workspace. Download your reports before that period ends. Downloaded PDFs remain on your device and do not update automatically. There is no recurring subscription charge.
Internal prerequisite: the seven-day post-activation expiry is not implemented. The existing seven-day invitation redemption deadline is a different limit. Define the deadline for initial activation, the exact activation event, expiry display, reissue and outage policy, then implement and test them before publishing this paragraph. Specify separately whether one purchase covers one person’s file and how repeat generation works. Do not promise an unlimited number of analyses without deciding it.
Before buying
You need an existing compatible raw DNA file; this does not include a DNA collection kit or laboratory testing. The portal supports specified CSV, TSV, ZIP and XLSX structures, including supported MyHeritage exports. An arbitrary spreadsheet or a PDF report is not a compatible raw DNA file. A modern browser, internet connection and sufficient device memory are required; large reference downloads can use substantial bandwidth. Publish tested file-size, device and browser requirements before launch.
This service does not currently provide a comprehensive BRCA assessment, an allergy test, a personalised diet or supplement plan, personality predictions, validated disease-risk bands, or prescribing advice. A heading in the topic guide is not a claim that we assessed the topic.
If a finding may warrant discussion, the report explains the uncertainty and may ask whether an appropriate clinical check is needed. A clinician decides whether a test is useful. Clinical tests and consultations are not included, and NHS eligibility is not guaranteed.
Evidence and updates
Each report shows the reference version used and any literature-search date. Research can change. Literature searches are selective, may lag publication and do not automatically update or validate medical recommendations. We do not promise that a report contains every new study or the latest clinical guidance.
