This calculator helps assess your hypnotic suggestibility using four measurable indicators:
Eye Roll Test (E): Measures how much of the white part of your eye is visible when looking upwards. A higher score indicates greater suggestibility.
Finger Lock Test (F): Measures your ability to experience an involuntary response to suggestion. If your fingers stay locked, your suggestibility is higher.
Blink Rate Reduction (B): Measures how much your blink rate slows after a brief relaxation. Greater reduction indicates stronger absorption and suggestibility.
Response Time to Suggestion (R): Measures how quickly you react to a hypnotic suggestion, such as lifting an arm involuntarily.
Understanding Your Results
The calculator provides three scores:
Total Suggestibility Score (S): A general measure of how suggestible you are.
Direct Suggestibility (S_d): Measures how well you respond to direct hypnotic suggestions, such as physical sensations.
Indirect Suggestibility (S_i): Measures how well you respond to indirect hypnotic suggestions, such as cognitive absorption.
