Local by default
Your dashboard, settings, trends, reminders, alarms, and most daily rhythm calculations are stored and processed locally on the device.
BioClock is built to make rhythm more visible without turning your wellbeing data into a product. Core features work on-device, optional integrations stay optional, and the app is framed as informational support rather than diagnosis or medical judgement.
BioClock is a wellbeing-oriented BioTime and circadian app. It estimates rhythm-related patterns such as BioTime, CRS, sleep timing, and mood-energy signals. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and it should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
Your dashboard, settings, trends, reminders, alarms, and most daily rhythm calculations are stored and processed locally on the device.
Health Connect, motion or light sensors, CRS platform sync, and exports only affect your data flow if you choose to turn them on.

Depending on the features you enable, BioClock may process wellbeing-related information such as bedtime, wake time, sleep quality, fatigue, stress, alertness, energy, mood, calm-tension, mental clarity, perceived jet lag, and local trend summaries.
BioClock uses enabled data sources to estimate BioTime, circadian phase, rhythm alignment, sleep pressure, suggested bedtime, mood-energy patterns, and trend summaries. It also uses local settings to run alarms, notifications, widgets, and reminders in a calm, wellbeing-oriented way.
BioClock is designed to work primarily on-device. Core calculations and stored history are intended to remain local to the device unless you explicitly choose an export or external sync action.
Your data is not transmitted off-device unless you intentionally use a feature that requires it.
If you enable an optional sync feature, the data used for that feature may be transmitted to the connected service according to that service's own configuration and policies.
BioClock is not designed to sell personal data or use health-related data for advertising. Optional external sharing only happens when you choose actions like export or sync.
BioClock may request optional permissions such as notifications, alarms, activity recognition, sensor access, and Health Connect access. These permissions support features you choose to enable and can be revoked through Android settings.
Local BioClock data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or remove it by uninstalling. If you use an external sync service, copies stored there may be retained according to that service's own rules.
BioClock aims to minimize data movement and keep wellbeing information local wherever possible. Even so, no device, storage method, or transmission path can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
BioClock is not directed to children under 13 for unsupervised use.
BioClock presents informational estimates about rhythm, sleep timing, mood-energy pattern, and stability. It is not a medical device, psychiatric evaluator, or source of clinical certainty. Any clinician-facing summary is intended as observational support only.
