Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy

When you consider the hypnotherapy for achieving of your goal, you will be probably curious what is possible to expect from hypnotherapist. Every hypnotherapist is somehow unique and this is depends on many factors such as education, length of the practice and natural talents.

Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy

My approach can be taken as Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy CBH which is an integrated psychological therapy employing clinical hypnosis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). The use of CBT in conjunction with hypnotherapy may result in greater treatment effectiveness.

Short term or a lasting effects

CBT can help in managing of actual uncomfortable states while hypnotherapy can go to the root. Both approaches lead to change of the perception. While hypnotherapy is aiming at subconscious tendencies, 'CBT' is focusing more on conscious understanding and this works better with open awareness, so we talk also about  Mindfulness therefore Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy MCBH. Combination of both can create a lasting effect.

What is hypnosis

It is useful to know what is hypnosis, so all unrealistic expectations can be removed. Hypnosis is a heightened state of awareness that allows the subconscious mind to make positive changes through direct suggestions and therapeutic imagery. While associated with relaxation, hypnosis is actually an escape from an overload of message units, resulting in relaxation.

Difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is the process of inducing of a passive state of mind and establishes reliable communication between the conscious and the subconscious mind. On the other hand, hypnotherapy is a psychological healing method that makes use of hypnosis to treat problems.
